History

Next to nothing is known thus far about the man calling himself AWOL, including his full name.

It is known that AWOL is the leader of an otherwise unnamed team of metahuman terrorists that attacked the city of Vanity, Oregon some months ago, striking at the city's wax museum in an apparent effort to engage the city's costumed super hero, Aztek, in battle. The battle ended in the terrorist unit's defeat and capture, but further details regarding the attack and its perpetrators have been sketchy owing to a governmental news blackout.

It is also known that AWOL has metahuman powers, but since he never got the chance to use them in his battle with Aztek, the exact nature of those powers is not publicly known.

AWOL is currently in custody, serving a long sentence at an unspecified governmental facility in an undisclosed location.
