Synopsis for "Around the World in 80 Hours"Edit
One day at a book publishing office, Captain Kryle is attempting to sell his book that features a swimmer that can make it around the world in 80 hours. The publisher can hardly believe the feat, however Captain Kryle insists that it could be done by somebody like Aquaman. The publisher then decides that he will only publish the book if the Kryle can prove to him that it's possible. Seeking out Aquaman, the captain explains his situation, and Aquaman agrees to help the captain out.
Because the publicity stunt becomes highly publicized, a group of criminals decide to try any means possible to try and prevent Aquaman and Aqualad from succeeding in their race around the world. Nothing stops the duo from their course, not an air raid, attack by smugglers, a nuclear bomb test.
When they have to cross an island in order to avoid sea-mines set by their foes, Aquaman and Aqualad soon find that they're getting to the point where they've been out of contact with water for over an hour. However, Aquaman is prepared, and with the aid of oxygen and hydrogen tablets they manages to make water, and the two are replenished long enough for them to get off the island and make their way to the finish line in under 80 hours. With their victory getting the front page of the paper, the book publisher agrees to publish Captain Kryle's book.
