Synopsis for "Mystery of the Theater of Fear"Edit

A wealthy couple attends a play in which a kidnapping occurs. When they return home, they receive a call that tells them their own son was kidnapped. Fearing their son will be killed as was done in the play, the couple pays the ransom demands. Their son then turns out to be alive and unharmed, never having been kidnapped. The police keep the case quiet and begin investigating the play. Green Lantern is also suspicious. The following evening another man is threatened. Green Lantern intervenes and stops a gang from blowing up a building. However, the crooks get away. Forbes the director of the plays then tries to frame Green Lantern. At the next performance, he tries to have an actor dressed as GL kill a police captain. The real GL stops him. Forbes is then tracked down, but is fatally shot. Before dying Forbes confesses to being behind the swindles and murders.

Synopsis for "The Movie Mystery"Edit

Dr. McNider and Myra Mason are invited to the premiere of a movie about gangsters. Steve Fink, the gangster upon which the film was based, tries to threaten producer Sam Oldwinn into canceling the movie. When the producer refuses, Fink's gang tries to put the audience to sleep with sleeping gas. The crooks then try to rob the viewers. Dr. Mid-Nite intervenes, awakening the audience with laughing gas. He then apprehends Fink. The movie turns out to be a success.

Synopsis for "The Egg Racket"Edit

Al Pratt finds a dairyman named Malcolm beaten by hoods. Al helps the man return home and learns that gangsters are trying to force Malcolm and other dairymen to join their crooked union. Al returns as the Atom and fights off another attack by Slade and his gang. When the gang boss brings the rest of his men, Atom has a trap set for them, using tear gas to pacify them. Once the crooks are turned over to police, the honest dairymen can return to work.

Synopsis for "Sargon Smashes a Gambling Casino"Edit

Deuces Wilde, a racket boss, offers Sargon a job as a dealer in his casino. Sargon takes the job in order to put a stop to the gambling. Using his magic, Sargon shows the patrons that the casino games are fixed. He also teaches them that gambling is bad. Sargon's efforts force the casino to close, and Deuces is forced to find an honest job.
