Synopsis for "Bare Bones part 1"
Aboard his spacecraft, the Master of the World plots to disrupt the Magus’s threat to Earth by releasing an ancient race of cannibals, the Ska’r. In a Toronto mall, Talisman shops and angsts over her mystical role, blaming her father for what her life has become. A new Omega Flight team spots her and attacks. At Four Freedoms Plaza in New York, Alpha Flight waits with other superheroes for Mr. Fantastic to brief them. At the mall, Omega Flight violently subdues Talisman despite her resistance, and their telepath Brain Drain forces his way into her mind. In a Toronto back alley, the members of Beta Flight, demoted to Gamma Flight by Windshear, take out their frustrations on some street thugs. In New York, Wolverine counsels a restless Alpha Flight following the exposure of Mr. Fantastic and Iron Man as alien impostors while Guardian is disconcerted by the sudden return of Shaman. Cyclops informs them that Guardian, Sasquatch, and Wolverine have been picked for an expeditionary force to pursue Thanos. Before they leave, Wolverine warns Weapon Omega that he knows who Omega is and will be watching him. Back in Toronto, Gamma Flight is walking along the waterfront when numerous locals spontaneously become violent. A building explodes, and a pyrokinetic man emerges from the flames. Windshear arrives at the mall as EMTs load Talisman into an ambulance. Severely beaten, she frantically warns him that “they’re out”.
