Synopsis for "Building Blocks part 2: Trust"

In Gatineau Park, Vindicator is furious that Wolverine let her think he was dead. Persuasion asks what they are going to do with Wild Child, and Vindicator decides to turn him in.  After extracting Puck’s location from the hospital staff, Shaman teleports himself, Aurora, Sasquatch, and Talisman to the Black Hills of South Dakota.  Almost immediately, a trio of mutated men attack, but the group subdues them with their powers.  Talisman telepathically scans one of the men and learns Puck has been taken by the Master of the World.  Furthermore, his base is underground beneath their feet.  In Denver, Roxxon and Box brief U.S. official Valerie Cooper on the crisis in their research complex, and she recommends they contact the mutant inventor Forge.  In an Ottawa bar, Heather continues to chastise Wolverine.  With his healing factor impaired, he says he is dying and that he came to say goodbye.  She suggests he get a blood transfusion from Wild Child who also has a healing factor. In the Black Hills, Talisman magically exposes the Master’s ship, and the group sneaks inside.  They find Puck shackled and mutated in a stasis chamber. Box, Diamond Lil, and Windshear fly to Muir Island to meet Forge, but Moira MacTaggert’s team of X-Men immediately attack them.  Box convinces them to talk and, after he briefs them on the situation in Denver, Forge agrees to help.  In Ottawa, Vindicator and Wolverine break into the prison where Wild Child is supposedly being held only to discover he is not there.  Box, Lil, Forge, and Windshear arrive in Denver just in time to watch the Roxxon complex suddenly explode.  Box taps into the facility’s security monitors and recognizes the man inside the amok construct—Alpha Flight’s supposedly dead founder James Hudson.
