Overview
Amos Sharkey is a gangster and loan shark, with ties to organized crime.
History
He was responsible for ordering the death of Philip Chance at the hands of his hitman Dancer, a man who could not pay him, and is responsible for young Christopher Chance deciding to become the Human Target.[1] Many years later, he became an informant on the syndicate for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. They asked the Human Target to protect his life, who reluctantly agreed not having realized who his client would be. Although Chance successfully defeated the hitman sent after him, Sharkey's actions led him to be denied placement in witness protection. After revealing his information to the authorities, he became a marked man and Chance remarked it was only a matter of time before someone inevitably plugged him.[2]
