History
Ardina is a clone of Shalla Bal, endowed with cosmic powers by Galactus.
Galactus created Ardina after his Master of Guile suggested doing so. Her intended purpose was to show Norrin Radd that the Human Race was unworthy of his help, however, she fell in love with him instead, and ended up helping him escape a trap set up by the CIA. When she and the Surfer then made love, Galactus realized that he had failed, and had her reabsorbed by the Matrix that had produced her.
