Synopsis for "...Our Regularly Scheduled Program..."

Walking through the ruins of Murderworld, Cable and Domino bicker over what to do in the wake of its destruction and the revelation of the Legacy Virus to the public. X-Force searches the wreckage for anything salvageable, but they find nothing. Warpath asks about Siryn’s absence, but Cable rebuffs him. Then, Phoenix announces she and Caliban have found the team’s PACRAT jet intact but partially buried. With Phoenix’s help, Cable telekinetically lifts the plane free of the wreckage. However, the strain causes him to briefly pass out. As the team flies the PACRAT to the Xavier Institute, Cable confides in Phoenix about the weight of his responsibilities, and she suggests he talk with his father Cyclops. Just as they land, Cable receives a telepathic distress call from his old friend Blaquesmith. He orders X-Force to stay behind and flies off with Caliban and Domino to Blaquesmith’s base, a derelict frigate docked in Baltimore. Cable has Caliban use his mutant-detecting power to locate Blaquesmith, and they fight through the ship’s automated defense systems. They find Blaquesmith alive and unharmed, but he warns someone attacked the ship and accessed all his data on Cable. He pulls up video footage of the intruder, but it is too grainy to make an identification. Once Blaquesmith assures Cable he is alright, Cable asks for his help with new designs for X-Force and, to Domino’s chagrin, reveals he has recruited Caliban to the team. On Muir Island, Moira MacTaggert suspects news of the Legacy Virus was leaked and confirms someone has accessed her computers. She tells her colleague Rory Campbell that the hacked data involves Cable and his life is now in danger.
