Synopsis for "Beer and Confidences"
At a jail, McCauley reluctantly accepted an interview from a reporter from the Richmond Record named Jeff Lewis. They got into a car together, where Lewis asked McCauley questions about Captain Confederacy and Miss Dixie. Meanwhile, Kitsune and Susan were sneaking an unconscious Jeremy Gray. When Kitsune and Susan had reached a cabin, Jeremy regained consciousness and was introduced to a man known only as "Mr. X" and was also reunited with Kate. They shared a meal together, where they had discussed superheroes that various countries had created for propaganda. Afterwards, Kate told Jeremy that she stole a serum of the Ultimate Warrior Formula and claimed that they were both addicted to the serum and without it, they would die. She proposed that Jeremy captured President Lee while she gave a speech, which he agreed too. Later, a boy had thrown a newspaper from the Richmond Record with a headline reading, "Captain Confederacy Brainwashed!"

Synopsis for the 2nd Story
Ant Boy was digging a tunnel underground, when he came upon a brick wall. On the other side of a wall was a boy named Wally playing a guitar loudly, when his mother came in with a list of chores. After Wally had left the room, Ant Boy broke in and examined his guitar. Wally spotted Ant Boy and agreed to let him help with the chores. Afterwards, Wally played the same song from his guitar, causing Ant Boy to dance. After the song was finished, Wally saw an ant and smashed it with a newspaper. Ant Boy saw this as a sign that he had a responsibility to the colony. Then, he smashed Wally's guitar and knocked him unconscious with a headlock before leaving him behind, followed by the ants. He put the bricks back into the wall, shortly before Wally's mother returned and asked how he had broken his guitar.
