All Quality Comics characters have lapsed into public domain. It should be noted that this pertains only to the characters as they were originally depicted when they appeared in titles published by Quality Comics. The versions of the characters that include retconned history are assumed to be separate characters that belong to DC Comics. Similarly, successor characters, such as the newest versions of Human Bomb and Black Condor, are properties of DC Comics.
