Synopsis for the 1st Story
Left an amnesiac after the battle against Lord Chapel, Chapel has been placed on leave from Youngblood and has to attend therapy to collect his salary. He is reluctantly describing the events surrounding his suicide when he gets a phone call from his former comrade Jeff Jackson asking for help. Jackson is in New Orleans, and his daughter has gone missing. Chapel leaves immediately on his motorcycle. Upon reaching New Orleans, he is ambushed by an armed woman and several gunmen. He returns fire, eliminating them all, but the battle triggers a brief vision of his Lord Chapel. He proceeds into the city and finds Jackson hiding out in a derelict church. Gangsters surround the building, and a massive gunfight ensues. Jackson is wounded, but when Chapel gets to him, he nearly shoots Chapel. Jackson apologizes but gets shot again. He dies in Chapel’s arms pleading for Chapel to save his daughter. The church has caught fire, triggering in Chapel another vision of Lord Chapel. Chapel shakes it off and escapes to go after Jackson’s killers.
