Synopsis for the 1st Story

Gabriel recognizes Ripclaw as a hero and senses they are both seeking the person responsible for the night’s chaos. He flies off as Heatwave arrives, and Ripclaw relates what he learned from Kildare. Outside a night club, Ballistic, Cyblade, and Velocity are attempting to control a crowd when Cyblade becomes possessed. Ballistic knocks her out. Heatwave flies around the city, using his powers to put out the fires. Ripclaw tracks the source of the magic to Beltaine’s house and confronts his demon guard Ganymede. Gabriel stops some looters while Impact and Stryker face a dragon in Central Park. Ripclaw battles Ganymede as Beltaine completes his spell, bringing his long-lost love Shianna back to Earth. Centuries ago, he accidentally exiled her to a nether realm while performing a magic ritual. Gabriel arrives and attacks Beltaine, disrupting the spell. Shianna once again vanishes, and a grief-stricken Beltaine disappears in a flash with Ganymede. Across the city, the demons fade away, and Cyblade is once again herself. Gabriel proclaims justice has been served and flies away, but Ripclaw is dubious given Shianna’s fate. The next morning, Ripclaw returns to the church looking for Ash. He speaks with a fireman who claims not to have seen Ash but assures him Ash is probably fine. Ripclaw thanks him and leaves, unaware the fireman is Ash in his civilian identity, Ashley Quinn.

Synopsis for "A Cyberforce Tale"

In a mountain forest, Ripclaw stands next to a fire he built and slashes himself with his claws. Crows flock to him and drink the blood from his wounds as he remembers being forced to kill his ex-girlfriend Laura Pike due to Misery’s machinations. He asks for Laura’s forgiveness, and the crows fly away as the fire burns out. The ritual over, he walks away.
