At one point, Deadpool looks towards the reader and talks about having too many spare pouches on his uniform. He also references someone named Rob. This would be Rob Liefeld, the creator of Deadpool, who had also developed a trend where his characters were often seen wearing a surplus of utility belts, straps and pouches.
