Synopsis for "Pit of Death Part 2: Agent of Hell"
Continued from last issue....
Lupescu has been tossed into Dracula's Pit of Death, where a legion of his vampires brides (including his own wife Velanna) attack him. Although armed with a stake and hammer, Lupescu is greatly outnumbered however he finds salvation when the cross that was knocked out of his hands earlier floats by. Recovering it, he uses it to keep the female vampires at bay.
Lupescu then takes a stake and drives it into his wife's heart killing her. With the cross poised where it keeps the other women at bay, Lupescu then smashes their coffins to make more wooden stakes and kills all. Rearranging their bodies, Lupescu then leaves and follows the tunnels back up to the castle.
Lupescu confronts Dracula and tells him that he has seen to his brides, and that they await his presence. Having gotten his revenge, Lupescu then tosses the cross aside and tells Dracula to do what he would. Dracula, naturally, feeds upon Lupescu and kills him. The vampire lord rushes downstairs to his brides, and finds to his horror that Lupescu -- in a final jest against Dracula -- had arranged the bodies into the shape of a cross so that Dracula cannot restore them to life on his own.

Notes
- Agent of Hell takes place in Transylvania in October of 1809. Although Transylvania is currently located in Romania, in "our" universe, in 1809, it was recognized as part of Hungary by the Habsburg Empire, which controlled Transylvania at the time. Assuming the history of the Marvel Universe mirrors ours in this part of the world, then Transylvania should be considered part of Hungary for the purposes of this story.
