History
Victor von Doom traveled into space with Reed Richards, Susan, and Johnny Storm as opposed to Ben Grimm, and became the Thing. He quickly turned on the group and drew the battle onto a military base where Ben Grimm was stationed. Ben tried to save the others from an experimental gamma bomb but was hit by it himself and transformed into a hulking monster. Ben made short work of Doom, after reverting into his human form, Ben joined the others and they formed the Fantastic Four. Together, the foursome met many strange friends and foes.
