Synopsis for "The Gildersock Murder"
Paul Patton is on assignment to take photos of a famous emerald collection. As he heads to his destination, a car with thugs follows him. They cause him to crash and take his camera and press pass. He races home and suits up as the Fox. When he enters the building where the jewels are, he takes his assigned photos, but soon a man pops out behind a curtain and tries to shoot him. The Fox is grazed by the bullet and the hidden intruder is able to grab the jewels and escape. The Fox visits another building, the jewelery owner's nephew. The Fox confesses he saw the guy who shot at him earlier, and the nephew panics and pulls a gun. A brief altercation ensues, and the nephew is knocked out. The Fox has wrapped this one up quickly, and the papers report on the solved case.
