Synopsis for "Headless Horror"
A man visits an English castle which is supposed to be haunted by a headless ghost when he can't find any information about ancestors living in the area. He sets up a TV camera to record the midnight hour for a television show, despite the misgivings of his host who thinks the villagers may have seen something. That evening at midnight the host startles from bed, awaking his wife, under the impression he has heard his guest give out a death cry at the castle. He and his wife drive out to the castle after midnight and find the man dead with a weapon protruding from his chest. They take the TV camera and have the film developed, then notify the authorities about the dead man. When they watch the movie they are shocked to see that it has recorded the terrified man's last moments encountering the ghost of a woman who lifts her head from her neck, producing gushing torrents of blood. The host's wife faints and he watches as the ghost approaches the doomed man on the screen and he falls backward onto a weapon. A servant notifies the host of a piece of mail that arrived from the city registrar and it provides information that the TV man actually did have an ancestor in the area 300 years ago who left quickly for America after it was rumored he was involved in the murder of a young woman. The host and his revived wife are shocked to realize that the ghost in the castle waited 300 years in order to take revenge upon the descendant of the man who killed her.
