Synopsis for the 1st Story

Upon returning to her late mother’s Malibu home, Spellcaster strips down to a bikini and walks onto the beach to enjoy the surf and sun. Sensing something wrong, her owl familiar Tundra flies back into the house. She follows, using their psychic bond to see what he sees—the demoness Maelstrom materialize in a magic circle on the floor. Maelstrom hurls a scythe at Spellcaster, but she dodges it, and Tundra attacks. Maelstrom grabs him by his feet, deflects an energy blast from Spellcaster, and knocks her out. Victorious, Maelstrom teleports to Hell with Tundra her captive and reports to her mistress, the goddess Scythe. Knowing Spellcaster can see what Tundra sees, Scythe shows him her prisoner: Spellcaster’s mother.
