Synopsis for "The Art of the Steal"

The Six Pack breaks into a Cape Canaveral research facility to steal a prototype, but Nomad has beat them to it. Rather than fight them, he sets off the facility’s sprinkler system to distract them and escapes. He delivers the prototype to his employer, its developer Dr. Carmella Roya, and warns her others are looking for it. While the Six Pack relaxes on Cocoa Beach, member Hammer researches Jack’s background, and the team decides to track him down. Two days later in Minneapolis, Bucky’s mother assaults the Favor Banker and demands he return Bucky to her. He refuses and assigns her to blackmail Senator Ingrid. In Clutier, Iowa, Ingrid gets angry at Nomad’s sister Jill for worrying about him, insists Nomad ruined their lives, and declares he will have Jack eliminated. The Six Pack finds Nomad at a South Carolina bus terminal. He tells them he does not have the prototype, attacks them, and tries to flee, but Hammer cuts him off with the team’s vehicle. They reveal SHIELD hired them to obtain the prototype. Two days later near Miami, Nomad, the Six Pack, and Nick Fury corner Roya just after she sells the device to Cuban agents. Nomad says he knows it would scramble DEA communications, giving drug cartels free rein to traffic through southern Florida. Roya counters that the U.S. government intended to use it against Cuba. Nomad decides no one should have the device, smashes it, and walks away.
