§ Synopsis1 = Inside the sealed Genoshan vault, Sasha Ryan’s co-conspirator waits for her. Meanwhile, X-Factor and the X-Patriots arrive at the presidential palace, and Ryan introduces them to the new Genoshan president. Ryan tells off the bigoted Aznian president, and the Genoshan president welcomes the X-Patriots home as Wolfsbane and Multiple Man reunite with Moira MacTaggert. Back in the U.S., Vic Chalker’s brother Dick a.k.a. the mutant Carnivore vows to avenge his brother by exterminating all mutants, but as soon as he leaves his lab, he is run over by a semi-truck. That night, Rahne wakes up from a nightmare in which Havok brands her and pleads with Moira for help. Elsewhere, Pirouette introduces Guido to her grandmother, and the president takes Val, Havok, and Prodigal on a tour of her garden. The president asks Prodigal is he is ready to be the mutates’ leader. Rahne confides in Moira about her lust toward men, and while Moira assures her that is normal for a young woman, tests by Sasha Ryan confirm her sex drive is exacerbated by her nature as a werewolf. Ryan also reveals that, when Wolfsbane was transformed into a mutate, she was bonded with Havok. In response, Rahne goes berserk. Afterward, Ryan opens the vault and tells her shadowy associate their plans must wait until X-Factor leaves. He accedes but vows Genosha will eventually be free of mutants.
