She then sets out to allow their bodies to succumb to accelerated growth while she makes plans to kill Gen 13.Meanwhile, the Gen 13 kids see the destruction brought about on New York and Fairchild realizes the future she saw (in Gen 13: Armageddon) came true. As they navigate through one of the ruined buildings, they are confronted by an anti-superhuman cult which captures all of the kids except Eddie, who absorbs the electricity from their attacker's tazers and turns into lightning. Sister Mary tells Jackson Dane that she has seen him undo the end of the world before (as seen in Deathblow: Sinners & Saints) and that he will do so again. But before he goes, he sets off on one last solo mission against The Night Tribes. He tells Sister Mary that if he survives the mission, he'll go find Lynch.
- Dane: Loyalties continues in Stormwatch: PHD #14.
- Grunge's line of having "seen this movie before" and follows after is a reference to Charlton Heston's memorable line from the 1968 film Planet of the Apes.
