Latverian language

The Latverian language is one of the languages spoken in the country of Latveria, alongside German, Romany and Hungarian.

Latverian is considered a dialect of Hungarian, instead of a language on its own, which means that is probably a linguistic variant of Hungarian, fully comprehensible by a Hungarian native speaker. However, being Latveria a super power, its native language is politically considered.

Latverian is a Finno-Ugric language from a subfamily of Uralic languages. Unlike most of the lanuages spoken in Europe except Basque, Finno-Ugric are not part of the Indo-European family of languages, but of the Uralic family.

Probably Latverian uses the Hungarian alphabet, which is an extended Roman alphabet with 44 letters, including: A, Á, B, C, Cs, D, Dz, Dzs, E, É, F, G, Gy, H, I, Í, J, K, L, Ly, M, N, Ny, O, Ó, Ö, O, P, (Q), R, S, Sz, T, Ty, U, Ú, Ü, U, V, (W), (X), (Y), Z, Zs. Letters in parenthesis are only used in foreign words including proper names; there are no diactric marks (the letter Ó is not an O with an accent but a letter of its own); and some letters are digraphs or even trigraphs.

Notice that traditional Hungarian uses the eastern name order, where the family name comes before the given name. Latveria does not use this method at all. The western name order is used probably because of the influence of the rest of Europe, including Germany.

Limbo (True)

True Limbo is a dimension that is unique in that it exists outside the timestream and thus possesses no time. Reality in Limbo is comprised of a single, ever-changing moment in which everything that ever was, is, and could be coexist. Human beings within Limbo might imagine that time passes there, since they are conditioned to think in such a way, but they cannot age or die there. In order to time travel without aging, it is necessary to pass through Limbo.

Limited series

The limited series is a term referring to a comic book series with a set finite number of issues. A limited series differs from an ongoing series in that the number of intended issues is determined before production of the series, and differs from a one shot in that it is comprised of multiple issues. It is still different from a finite series in that the number of issues is pre-determined while the latter has no definite number of issues set which could run for a number of years before it ends.

The term is often used interchangeably with "miniseries (mini-series)" and "maxiseries (maxi-series)", often depending on the length and number of issues. In Dark Horse Comics’ definition of a limited series, "This term primarily applies to a connected series of individual comic books. A limited series refers to a comic book series with a clear beginning, middle and end. Limited series may also be referred to as mini-series (less than twelve individual issues) or maxi-series (twelve or more individual issues)." [1] DC Comics refers to limited series of two to eight issues long as miniseries while nine to twelve issues or longer as maxiseries while Marvel Comics originated the term limited series itself. Other publishers alternate terms calling such works as either limited series or miniseries while others still choose not to label at all.
