Synopsis for "Prologue"

Aboard Zumas, Boneyard tries to take the Windsword from Feline, but she fends him off. Hardcase materializes and reports that Lord Pumpkin killed Flygirl and took Roc’s Egg. On Vahdala, Argus tells Iago that, if he dies, his servants will soon follow him. On the Godwheel, Lukasz and Warstrike materialize near the world’s inner rim just before Necromantra arrives and attacks. Lukasz stops Warstrike from shooting her so as not to hurt her host Eden Blake. Lukasz fights her, but then Boneyard teleports in and stuns her for betraying him, briefly giving Eden control of her body. Meanwhile, Warstrike finds the Crystal Crown, puts it on, and has a bloody vision of himself and Necromantra ruling Los Angeles as mass murderers. Horrified, he tosses the Crown aside and collapses in shock. Lukasz seemingly destroys Boneyard with the Sword of Fangs, but this enables Necromantra to regain control of Eden, grab the Crown, and teleport away.

Synopsis for "Reinventing the Wheel"

Back aboard Zumas, Hardcase tends to the traumatized Warstrike. Suddenly, Boneyard’s severed head comes alive and attacks Lukasz. Hardcase holds him off long enough for Feline to kill him with the Windsword. From Vahdala, Argus watches her insist they must get the sword to the Crucible. He tells Necromantra to place the Crystal Crown in its slot, but she wants to wear it for a bit, and they kiss, upsetting Primevil. After she runs Primevil off, Iago’s pet flies over Lord Pumpkin’s body, and a vine pulls it into a budding pumpkin patch nearby. The heroes teleport to Vahdala, and Pressure encourages Feline to place the sword in its slot as Hardcase and Lukasz run to confront Argus and Necromantra. The real Pressure finds Cayman and Warstrike just as Feline inserts the Windsword, and the fake Pressure reveals herself as Rune. Necromantra inserts the Crown, activates the Crucible, and flies into it, but Argus quickly has Primevil carry her away. Just then, a horde of living pumpkins swarm Argus. Rune tries to feed on Necromantra so she gives up Eden’s body. Lukasz tells Eden to remove the Crown while fights Rune. Before she does, though, Argus rejuvenates and merges with the pumpkin horde into a grotesque hybrid. Argus lashes out at the heroes and opens an interdimensional portal, summoning another god to aid him, but then Mjolnir comes flying out and hits him in the face.

Synopsis for "Thunder in Vahdala!"

Thor leads the heroes against Argus even as Rune notices someone else emerge from the interdimensional portal. Thor summons lightning, inadvertently opening another portal. Using the Crystal Crown as bait, Eden Blake goads Argus into entering the portal, and he vanishes. Thor explains her magics brought him instead of someone to aid Argus. Able to teleport with his hammer Mjolnir, he offers to send the heroes where they wish. Hardcase wants to go back to Ogma’s yacht Zumas, Feline asks to return to the Godwheel to bury Flygirl, and Warstrike wishes to return to Earth, renouncing his superhero identity. Eden helps Thor teleport, but then Rune jumps him, and they all disappear. Thor’s half-brother Loki, the god of lies, appears and goes to pick up the Windsword but breaks it. Iago greets him and asks how to serve him. Loki likes hearing that and declares he will conquer this realm.
