Overview
Grant Gabriel was the editor of the Daily Planet.
History
A clone of Julian Luthor, created by Lex Luthor. The clone was artificially aged to adulthood and given false memories. Now named "Grant Gabriel", the clone was made to believe that he was Lex's brother, who had been put up for adoption and was set up as editor of the Daily Planet.
While in this position, Grant hired a young reporter from the Metropolis Inquisitor, named Lois Lane, whom he soon entered a romantic relationship with.
Grant learned the truth of his origins, after he encountered Adrian Cross (another clone of Julian Luthor). This prompted Grant to contact Lionel Luthor and told Lionel about himself. Unfortunately, this lead Lex to have Grant assassinated. Grant died in Lionel's arms.
