Synopsis for the 1st Story

Hazard tracks a lead on D’Oro’s whereabouts to an offshore oil platform.  After paying a helicopter pilot to fly him there, he jumps out and swims to the platform.  He fights his way past a guard and finds D’Oro inside.  D’Oro boasts that he has struck a deal with Johnny Pepper to use nanotech to take over Los Angeles.  In exchange for keeping Hazard’s nanites from killing him, D’Oro orders him to assassinate the L.A. mayor.  Hazard refuses and attacks, but D’Oro has injected himself with nanites and swells into a muscled giant.  They fight until Hazard destroys the equipment D’Oro uses to control the nanites. D’Oro attacks him, and they fight some more until Hazard flees.  He fights past more guards and opens the pipes pumping oil to the surface.  He then ignites the oil and swims away just as the platform explodes.
