Overview
Jack was a troubled teen in Metropolis.
History
Jack and his brother Denny were abandoned by their parents at an early age. After years in the foster care system, Jack ran away with his brother and supported them with petty crime. In the spring of 1994, Jack broke into the home of Clark Kent and stole an Orb, that he sold to Lex Luthor.[1]
Realizing that Jack was a good kid, who simply had lived a hard life, Clark arranged for Jack to get a job at the Daily Planet.[1]
When the Planet was bombed, Jack was framed for the crime, but was ultimately cleared and Lex Luthor was exposed as the one responsible.[2][3]
