Justice League Unlimited spun off of the critically successful Justice League and re-launched under its new title on July 31, 2004. Justice League Unlimited retained the seven staple League members from Justice League, but also included a rotating cast of guest stars from week to week. Some characters such as Supergirl and Steel had made prior appearances on previous series, but the expanded League consisted primarily of super-heroes who had never been seen before on the small screen. Notable guest appearances would include, Stargirl, Wildcat, Huntress, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Vixen and many others. Justice League Unlimited lasted three seasons (independent of Justice League) and aired its final episode "Destroyer" on May 13, 2006.
