The former leader of the World Campaign against Male Domination, Kitten was chosen by Turbo Jones to be one of the expedition leaders of the spaceship Wildcat when, Turbo having predicted that Earth was doomed by an impending meteorite strike, it set off to find a new home for humanity on another (presumably less doomed) world. Kitten, who was accompanied by a robotic aide called Crud, donated $20, 000, 000 from her inheritance to help finance the mission.

Kitten Magee was one of four characters to have a regular series in Wildcat. After the title's cancellation, her strip continued to appear in Eagle (the title with which Wildcat was merged) until issue #395.
