|Life With Feathers|
Life with Feathers is a 1945 Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Friz Freleng. It was nominated for an Academy Awards for short episodes and films.
Cartoons became more in demand for Sylvester so Friz Freleng and Robert McKimson directed most of his future films. WB had prototypes of Sylvester but Bob Clampett and Friz Freleng came with a final redesign of Sylvester.
It stars an unnamed bird too and his only appearance. It was reissued in March 3, 1951 almost 6 years from its release date. Like most reissued Merrie Melodies at the time, the original closing sequence was kept.
Final cartoon to have 1941-45 version of Merrily We Roll Along.
Sylvester wants to catch a bird. The birds wife leaves and the bluebird wants to get eaten. Sylvester thinks he is poison and doesn't want to eat him. The bird finds many ways to get Sylvester to eat him, but, he changes his mind after and then he tries to get Sylvester and gets him. (he isn't seen after that) The wife then decides to stay and the bird yells "Here Kitty Kitty, Here Pussy Cat" when he wants to get eaten "again".
