History
When Magnetic Menace robbed from fellow criminals, the Gargoyle Gang, Steel Sterling stepped in to hi-jack the hi-jacker, and returned the missing loot to the police.
The Magnetic Menace felt humiliated about this, and believed his public image with other criminal rivals was damaged. He went after Sterling, and was able to steal his Anti-Gravity Belt from him. Unfortunately, when he activated it, he propelled himself into outer-space, and was never heard from again.

Notes
- When the Magnetic Menace stole Sterling's belt and zoomed into outer-space forever, Sterling "gained" his Magno-Scooter — renaming it The Sterling-Scooter and using it to fight crime.
