) Malone was a short 2006 spin-off strip from 2000 AD's long running Sinister Dexter series, starring an amnesiac drifter who was eventually revealed to be a brainwashed Sinister with a new face, a fact which was kept hidden from readers for some weeks. (Malone had hallucinations of a sinister red-nosed clown which in retrospect were a clue to his true identity.) Sinister readopted the name, though not the persona, in the Sinister Dexter story Malone Again.
