Synopsis for "The Woman Behind the Mask"

After a brief scuffle, Warstrike tells Lukasz he was duped by Notch and wants to help. Over coffee, Lukasz briefs him on the centuries-long conflict between Archimage and Boneyard, how Archimage’s warriors change bodies after death, and that, with Archimage captured, Lukasz's next death will be final.  Before leaving, Warstrike explains he found Lukasz using his precognitive abilities and reiterates his desire to help.  The next morning, Lukasz sends Eden’s kids off to school and continues acclimating to her life and body.  To learn more, he goes to Eden’s workplace and meets her coworkers, including her ex-husband, Gus Blake Sr.  They go to lunch, and Lukasz convinces him to watch the kids that evening.  Elsewhere, Boneyard and Notch torture Archimage for the whereabouts of his warriors.  Lacking an invitation, Lukasz uses Eden's beauty to get into an auction at Edgar Strauss’s magic shop.  Inside, he meets Warstrike and spots Notch in the crowd as Strauss prepares to sell the mask Boneyard was seeking.  When Notch and his henchmen attack, Lukasz grabs the mask and puts it on, transforming his clothes into his hooded costume.  As Lukasz and Warstrike battle Notch and his men, Lukasz discovers he can magically manipulate air, earth, fire, and water.  Defeated, the villains teleport away.  After refusing to return the mask to Strauss, Lukasz finds he can use his powers to fly and returns home.  At the kids’ request, he takes them to a movie.  While taking Eden’s daughter Evie to the restroom, a group of identical men attack, demanding the mask.  Lukasz fights back, and the battle spills into the theater.  After the other moviegoers flee, the men overwhelm him and prepare to cut the mask off his face.
