Synopsis for "Mantra the Animated Series"

Mantra and Warstrike confront Edgar Strauss in his office over the pendant he gave Warstrike not working as he said it would.  After they warn him not to double-cross them again, Mantra thanks Warstrike for his help, ignores his flirting, and flies away.  A demon spots her and decides to destroy her to ingratiate itself with Boneyard.  To acquire a physical form, it enters a movie theater and adopts the form of cartoon character Wiley Wolf.  Arriving home, Mantra resumes her guise as Eden Blake, argues with Eden’s mother, and sees her kids off to school.  Later, she meets with Eden’s boss and accepts a job offer from the government agency Aladdin. Afterward, Lukasz gets a call from Eden’s friend Marla and accompanies her to the morgue to identify her husband’s body—Lukasz’s previous host.  Lukasz also recognizes the corpse of Eden’s boyfriend Brent and learns he apparently committed suicide.  Lukasz leaves, changes into Mantra, and heads for Brent’s apartment to investigate.  On the way, the demonic Wiley Wolf ambushes her, and their battle takes them to Evie’s school.  Defeated, it flees, vowing to return the next time Mantra uses her powers. That night, she finds Eden’s kids fighting over a magazine containing pictures of a model dressed as Mantra.  Deducing the demon will attack the model, Mantra visits the magazine office and interrupts a photo shoot in progress. The model turns on a TV, and Wiley Wolf pulls Mantra into his cartoon world.  Using cartoon tricks and tropes, she bests him and then tricks him into teleporting himself to Boneyard.  After returning to the studio, she tells the magazine publisher to stop writing about her and leaves.  Meanwhile, Boneyard punishes the demon for his failure by trapping him in Wiley Wolf’s form.
