Synopsis for "The Sensational She-Hulk"

Director Nicholas Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. is ordered by the Council to apprehend She-Hulk for evaluation, fearing she might become a threat like her cousin, The Hulk. Fury disagrees with the operation, but his objections are overruled, prompting him to take a leave of absence. Meanwhile, She-Hulk, emotionally reflective on her cousin Bruce’s birthday, enjoys a night out with Wyatt Wingfoot. However, their evening is interrupted when S.H.I.E.L.D. deploys Mandroids to arrest her under the guise of “Operation Green Genes.” She-Hulk resists, leading to a violent altercation that results in her and several civilians being transported to a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier.

Once aboard, She-Hulk and Wyatt attempt to escape but are captured and subjected to mistreatment. She-Hulk is forced to undergo a humiliating strip search, which sparks outrage from Agent Dum Dum Dugan, who is not aware of the gross misconduct by Agent Dooley, the one responsible for the operation. Dugan eventually apologizes, but the situation worsens as Dooley takes over command, imprisoning Wyatt and She-Hulk. She-Hulk, though captured, manages to evade further harm by using her powers to escape, only to discover a larger, more dangerous conspiracy involving an alien entity controlling Dooley.

As the helicarrier spirals into chaos, She-Hulk must choose whether to help S.H.I.E.L.D. stop a potential disaster when the helicarrier’s atomic reactor threatens a nearby town. She takes on the challenge, succeeding in averting the disaster but at a cost—she is permanently locked in her She-Hulk form due to exposure to the radiation.

Now, living in her She-Hulk form forever, She-Hulk contemplates the true cost of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s manipulation and wonders if the cockroaches, who attacked her during the crisis, might have known more than they let on about her fate.
