Synopsis for "The Empty Bus!"

A mobster gets on a bus during a rainy night that has no other riders in order to track down one of his former boys who took it on the lam. Suddenly a strange old man appears beside him and offers to tell him a story. He foretells the mobster's death at the hand of the younger man as they struggle for the mobster's gun, but the criminal does not heed the prophecy and gets off the bus to meet with his appointed destiny.

A man who builds ships in bottles for fun murders his nagging wife when she smashes them and inserts her head inside a bottle.

Synopsis for "Foolproof!"

An apartment owner decides to commit arson in order to get rid of an unwanted property so he figures that if he calls the fire department from the top floor of the burning building, no one will accuse him of setting the fire. He figures out how long that it should take the fire truck to respond to his phone call from the top floor and then lights a fire on the ground floor. He rushes up the stairs to the pay phone on the top floor and remembers that he doesn't have any coins.

Synopsis for "Peter and the Puppet!"

A ventriloquist and his living puppet meet a woman that both of them fall in love with. The ventriloquist becomes jealous and strangles the puppet. When he goes to see the woman without the doll she reveals that she too is a living puppet and strangles him.

Synopsis for "A Coffin for Carlos"

A man visits a convicted killer in jail and offers to sell him a pill for five hundred dollars that will make him appear dead in order to cheat the electric chair. Once he has been buried, he will dig him up. The killer agrees, but has no money, so he extorts it out of his brother. He takes the pill and it works, but instead of taking him to the morgue, the police wheel him into a group of medical students with scalpels. It turns out his brother sold his body to dissection study for five hundred dollars.
