Synopsis for "Book One, Chapter 5: Dragons"
Johnny flew out of the Sunburst Cybernetics building and killed a woman named Stephanie to show Micky what he planned to do to Liz.
Micky transformed into Miracleman and attacked Johnny. During their fight, Johnny was approached by a young boy named Wayne, who he picked up and threw into the sky, only for Miracleman to catch him and return him to his mother.
Johnny hit Miracleman hard enough to knock him into the sky. Miracleman attempted to flee into the clouds after realizing Johnny's power level, only for his former ally to follow him and throw him back to the ground.

Synopsis for "Book One, Chapter 6: Fallen Angels, Forgotten Thunder"
Liz was driving away in her car when Johnny landed in her way, causing her to crash. Johnny dragged her out of her car and told her that he had killed her husband. However, an injured Miracleman emerged. Johnny prepared to kill Liz by crushing her with debris, but was interrupted by Miracleman, who had returned to continue their battle.
During the battle, the police and military were alerted. Johnny defeated Miracleman again and before he could finish him, he accidentally transformed back to his human form after saying "Kid Miracleman." Miracleman flew away with Liz, leaving Johnny behind.
Meanwhile, a man named Evelyn Cream received a phone call and left the room, leaving behind Sir Dennis Archer, who recalled the time he worked for Spookshow and used Dragonslayer to attack Miracleman, Kid Miracleman, and Young Miracleman.

Synopsis for "Book One, Chapter 7: Secret Identity"
Their car stopped in Dartmoor where Micky transformed into Miracleman. Liz took out a pile of American comics from the trunk of their car to research her husband's powers. Meanwhile, doctors were examining a now-powerless Johnny, attempting to learn his identity. In his subconscious, Johnny was being tormented by Kid Miracleman.
Evelyn Cream visited a hospital, posing as "Dr. Causley", in order to visit Steven Cambridge. After finishing showing his powers to Liz, she revealed that she was pregnant. Cream introduced himself to Cambridge and gained information on Miracleman's identity before killing the patient.

Synopsis for "Book One, Chapter 8: Blue Murder"
Two months later, after a morning flight in the sky, Miracleman transformed back into Micky Moran and expressed his concern about their baby to Liz and how he could only give her a baby as Miracleman.
Micky walked to work while he was being watched by Cream. He went to work where he talked to the features editor Pete about the battle at the power station. He went into an elevator, where he picked up a baby named Darren from his mother and was shot by cream who knew that he would not transform into Miracleman without burning the baby alive.
