Synopsis for "This is Black September"
Rhiannon admits to killing two Chinese women, not just to supply her cannibalistic elixirs but also because Night Man is dating the Chinese Gale Yee instead of her. Convinced Rhiannon can give him more power to fight evil, Night Man says he will join her. Horrified, his duplicate points out she is a killer, but Night Man argues she transcends human morality. The duplicate punches Night Man, but Rhiannon knocks out the duplicate and tells Night Man they must go to Stonehenge. Later, the duplicate awakens, recalls the battle with Loki, and resolves to save Night Man from Rhiannon. He goes to Playland, but Eddie Domingo stops him at gunpoint and asks for a password. The duplicate does not have one but insists he is the real Night Man and wrestles the gun away from Eddie. After getting Johnny’s passport, he storms out. That night at Stonehenge, Rhiannon tells Night Man it is a special night because it is an equinox, and she ignites a magical fire. While Night Man admits he wants the power she offers, he hesitates to become her lover, but she refuses to train him unless he does. Then, she kisses him, and he embraces her. Meanwhile, the duplicate has arrived in England and races toward Stonehenge on his motorcycle. Explaining that Stonehenge is a place of ancient Celtic magic, Rhiannon sacrifices a falcon and drinks its blood with Night Man. Three avatars of the horned god Cernunnos appear, and she orders Night Man to prove himself by fighting them. He kills all three just before the duplicate arrives and tackles him. Reality warps for a moment, and Night Man sees the duplicate fighting Wolverine in a portal between standing stones. Rhiannon is gone, but Night Man feels his new power.
