Synopsis for "Who is the Night Man?"

At a newsstand, Johnny Domingo reads about his battle with Mangle in the newspaper and overhears various passersby talking about Night Man. Afterward, he drives to the restaurant where Deathmask’s last victim worked. A woman named Rita Diamond recognizes him as jazz saxophonist Johnny Domino and invites him to play a charity benefit at her fiancé’s estate that weekend. While performing at the event, Johnny spots Russell Peters in the crowd. After Johnny finishes his set, Rita introduces him to her fiancé Roger Carrington. Then, Peters approaches Johnny and explains he wants to buy Playland because the land it sits on once belonged to his family. Suddenly, the lights go out, and Johnny sees a hooded figure abduct two women then escape through a trap door in the floor. Unable to reach them in time, Johnny retrieves his Night Man suit from his car and discovers the trap door leads to an old tunnel beneath the estate. After escaping booby traps including a pit with spikes at its bottom and a rolling boulder, he finds the kidnapper and their victims in a lab full of medical equipment. Night Man attacks, and the kidnapper reveals they extract adrenaline from their victims to prolong their life, claiming to be over 4,700 years old. Night Man and the kidnapper fight until he rips their hood off, revealing them to be Rita Diamond. Calling herself Rhiannon, she kicks him in the gut and escapes through a hidden door. Night Man then frees her two victims. Later, he muses on the encounter and his identity in a pirate radio broadcast.
