Synopsis for "Ghosts!"
Two women flirt with Johnny Domingo as he lifts weights at a gym, but he rebuffs them because he cannot stop thinking about Rhiannon. At a NuWare facility in Sunnyvale, J.D. Hunt seethes over Night Man’s defiance during the confrontation with Mangle. Hunt watches TNTNT—his strike team of Ultras—train against robots and orders them to kill Night Man. His son Guy cheers him on and wants to work with him. Eddie visits Johnny at the gym and informs him Russell Peters has bought a public beach. Johnny returns home and decides to confront Peters as Night Man. TNTNT searches San Francisco for Night Man and spots him riding his motorcycle toward Peters’ beach. Upon arriving, he berates Peters for stripping the city of its heritage until TNTNT attacks. Outnumbered and overpowered, Night Man flees into Peters’ construction site. TNTNT splits up to find him, enabling him to pick them off one by one. Neuronne tries to use her powers against him, but the shrapnel in his brain turns it against her, and he knocks her out. Next, Night Man deduces Torso is a multiple amputee and makes him faint by threatening him with a buzzsaw. Night Man locates Naiad by sensing her desire to kill him and electrocutes her with tasers. Lastly, he tricks Tyrannosaurus into knocking out Tugun and bringing down a pile of girders on himself. At midnight, Night Man boasts of his victory over the radio. J.D. Hunt hears the broadcast and smashes his stereo in a rage.
