Synopsis for "Solitary!"

Apocaloff’s cellmate makes bail and delivers a message to J.D. Hunt requesting Hunt break Apocaloff out. Hunt decides to use Teknight to do it, gets the controls for the armor from Waddell, and tells his son Guy what he is about to do. At Mount Diablo, Night Man returns to Rhiannon’s underground lair and finds another note from her. Afterward, he goes to Playland to spend some time with his father Eddie. Outside the jail, protesters are demanding the police get Apocaloff out of the city when Teknight arrives. Under J.D. Hunt’s control, it tears into the building and bludgeons several cops. Enjoying himself, J.D. gives the controls to Guy. At Playland, Johnny hears news of the attack over the radio and heads to the jail as Night Man. The police refuse to work with him, but they let him inside. After he fails to damage Teknight with a taser and to restrain it with rope, Guy uses it to tear the door off Apocaloff’s cell. As Teknight and Apocaloff exit the jail, Night Man shoots Teknight with water from a fire hose to no effect, and it punches him, nearly breaking his jaw. Just then, a hooded figure on a nearby rooftop blasts Apocaloff and Teknight with a restraining adhesive. Guy tries to make Teknight free itself, but it tears itself apart in the process. Guy and J.D. blame each other for the armor’s failure, and J.D. hits Guy for talking back. Night Man confronts the hooded figure, and he reveals himself to be Eddie. Having always known that Johnny is Night Man, he decided to help after seeing Teknight on TV. Johnny tells Eddie it is too dangerous, but he is glad Eddie knows his identity.
