Synopsis for "Luck of Easy!"Edit

The combat happy Joe's of Easy Company have begun putting more stock and faith in good luck charms than they are their own training and better judgment. This has got Sgt. Rock worried as he knows putting faith in charms to get through combat will eventually get his squad killed. Every time Rock tries to prove to them good luck charms are no replacement for being alert, the plan backfires because of the troops faith in their charms.

This especially becomes the prevalent mode of thought when flame-thrower trooper Nick's good luck charm (a rabbits foot) captures the troops faith in good luck charms. It's not until a full out attack where Nick is pinned under enemy fire do the troops give up on their good luck charms. This is because, during the fight Nick loses his lucky rabbits foot, and Sgt. Rock comes to his rescue with no good luck charms at all. After the battle is over, the boys of Easy Co. toss away their charms realizing that they are useless in combat.
