Samantha Slade is the estranged granddaughter of former robo-hunter Sam C Slade. Despite growing up with little contact with her grandfather, since 'inheriting' his two former robot assistants Hoagy and Stogie she has found herself carrying on the family business as a hunter of rogue robots.
