Synopsis for "Sleep, My Love!"
When a man discovers that his wife is a witch, he murders her, but she curses him that her spirit will haunt him at night when he sleeps. He resolves to thwart her curse by working at night and sleeping during the day, but it doesn't work well for him until he signs on with a steamer where an overseer makes sure that he stays awake during the night stoking the furnace. Unfortunately for him, the ship has an accident which he manages to swim away from, but he learns that in the Arctic the nights are six months long.
