Synopsis for "The Thing Called It!"
A European mad scientist in a castle creates a monster to destroy a rival, but fails to animate the creature, and so disposes of it in the quicksand bog below the window. The quicksand supplies the missing ingredient and the creature returns to its creator, but it has been given a sense of morality with its life, and so refuses the evil request to kill. The scientist attempts to blow it up but instead falls to his death from the ramparts. The creature vows it would live a just life if it could have a human body and a bolt from the heavens transfers its life essence into the body of its creator.
