Synopsis for "With My Own Eyes, I saw the Two-Headed Thing!"

A warden looks out the window at the thunderstorm worried that a prisoner will escape if the power goes out. That is indeed what happens, but the guards are able to locate the prisoner outside. He tells them a fantastic tale about a two-headed creature with the power of shape-shifting that has burrowed up from the core of the Earth. The guards don't believe the story, but the prisoner morphs into the two-headed thing and attacks. The guard's bullets are useless against its thick hide but a lightning strike is drawn to the large creature and kills it.

Synopsis for "Do Not Panic!"

Ditko draws this story so that none of the people's faces are shown as the narrator relates the events. An alien craft is depicted over the city and descends. The radio warns people not to panic. A creature walks out of the ship, claims to be peaceful, and people assume it looks monstrous but others correctly realize that its merely wearing a spacesuit. The being removes its headgear and in the last panel it is revealed to be the first human on Mars surrounded by relieved Martians.
