Synopsis for "Taken by the Sky!"

Following their trip to the Moon, the Strangers have landed the shuttle they stole at Edwards Air Force Base and face a crowd of reporters as they deplane. Aladdin’s Mr. Leopold is waiting and demands a debriefing, but they refuse. He orders their arrest, but Ultra-friendly U.S. Navy Capt. Christopher Dugan intervenes, declares he gave the Strangers permission to take the shuttle, and clears them of all charges. He then has them flown to Moffett Field near San Francisco. As the Strangers disembark, Chief Aula of the Sky People appears and orders Yrial to return to Sky Island. She refuses and attacks, he retaliates, and the Strangers come to her aid. To stop the fight, Yrial relents and leaves with Aula. To get her back, the Strangers fly to Sky Island in Lady Killer’s jet and try to negotiate with Aula. He is unmoved so they take Yrial and flee into the island’s forest. Yrial reveals how she secretly visited Earth many times before meeting the Strangers and how the advent of Ultras convinced her it was time the Sky People ended their centuries of isolation. She affirms her loyalty to the team, and Lady Killer says she has a plan. Using Electrocute as bait, the team lures a pack of warriors into an ambush while Lady Killer and Yrial find the source of the Sky People’s power, the Starfoam crystal. Lady Killer wants to use it to barter for the team’s escape, but Yrial refuses and surrenders to Aula. He imprisons her and declares the Strangers are free to leave. They refuse to leave without Yrial until she tells them to go. As they fly away in the jet, Lady Killer discovers Yrial slipped a piece of clay into her pocket. On it are coordinates for a location in the Caribbean Sea, and the Strangers decide to investigate.
