Synopsis for "Superman's Greatest Sacrifice"
Lois Lane takes on an assignment to interview a wealthy recluse named Dolores Drake. She bargains her way into the heiress’ mansion only to discover that Dolores is the spitting image of Lois herself.
Lois' anxieties intensify when she later discovers that Superman has fallen in love with Dolores and offered her a proposal of marriage. As part of his wedding vows, he agrees to forego his super-powers and retire as Superman.
While Superman and Dolores are busy arranging their wedding, a gang of crooks known as the Flynn Gang attempt to break into the Drake mansion and steal her valuables. Suddenly, a second Superman swoops down and apprehends the thugs. He reveals to Lois, that the man, who proposed to Dolores Drake, was actually her butler – Jarvis.

Synopsis for "The Girl of 100 Costumes"
Lois Lane decides to do everything in her power to gain Superman's attention. She begins by dressing up in lavishly extravagant costumes, but Superman fails to notice her. Lois enters a parade and dresses up as a Swiss yodeler. Superman eventually comes to notice her, but Lois cannot speak as her voice is hoarse from constantly yodeling.

Synopsis for "The Fattest Girl in Metropolis"
Lois Lane investigates an unsolved murder, and peruses a series of mug shots. However, she is unable to successfully identify the culprit from the pictures in her possession. Later, she visits a local scientist named Professor Colby. Colby possesses a device which exposes Lois to a wave of energy, altering her size. She is now the fattest girl in all of Metropolis.
The murderer, Swags Swanson, tracks Lois down and prepares to shoot her, but Superman arrives and apprehends the criminal. He then tells Lois that he secretly conspired with Professor Colby to expose her to the growth ray in the hopes of disguising her features. Fortunately, the effects of Professor Colby's machine are only temporary.

Trivia
- This is the second time in this series that someone has impersonated Superman. In Superman's Girlfriend, Lois Lane #2, a conman named Dan Jones disguises himself as the Man of Steel in order to trick Lois into helping him with a scheme.
