-| Synopsis1           = [[Kal-El (New Earth)|Superman]] and [[Kenneth Braverman (New Earth)|Conduit]] continue to battle while [[Lois Lane (New Earth)|Lois Lane]] secretly sets a trap for the villain.  At [[S.T.A.R. Labs]], [[Emil Hamilton (New Earth)|Emil Hamilton]] analyzes the doppelganger body found in Superman's tomb.  Superman finally catches Conduit off guard, using a sheet of lead to block the [[Kryptonite]] radiation in his suit, and then melting it onto his costume.  A nearly powerless Conduit seemingly flees the fight, but is actually heading after Lois.  When the villain arrives at her apartment, he finds her accompanied by his father.  The nearly powerless Conduit is taken into custody once more when the Man of Steel arrives.  At S.T.A.R. Labs, Superman is assured that a new specialist, Draper, will prevent any future escapes.
