Synopsis for "A Fair Captive From the Sky"Edit

John Carter roams around a Martian city with his guard dog, as Tars Tarkas lectures him with a history lesson about his race. Suddenly above, an unidentified aircraft is being blasted from the skies. When they inspect the fallen ship, they take prisoner a beautiful red-skinned female, Princess Dejah Thoris of Helium. As she is taken to the dungeon, she is being manhandled by the Tharks. John notices this, and lashes out at the laughing guards. Tars Tarkas threatens to disintegrate John if does not stop his scuffle. Disgusted with John's actions, Tars Tarkas escorts him and the princess to a higher tribunal, to be judged if they should live or die.
