History
The Doctor is a Time Lord from the planet of Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborus. A restless soul, somewhere near the end of his first incarnation, he became frustrated by the Time Lords' policy of passive observation of the universe, stole a defective Type 40 TT Capsule (a 'TARDIS') that was in for repair, and went out into the universe to explore it for himself. He has been travelling ever since, often with a variety of companions such as his granddaughter Susan, Sarah Jane Smith, Sharon Davies, Izzy Sinclair and Maxwell Edison, battling some of the most evil would-be conquerors in existence (including the Daleks, the Cybermen, the Kleptons and the Trods, the Time Witch, Josiah W. Dogbolter and Beep the Meep), making allies such as the United Nations Intelligence Taskforce, Kroton the Cyberman, Abslom Daak, Dalek Killer, the Free-Fall Warriors, Death's Head, Ivan Asimoff, the Wrarth Warriors and the shadow man Shayde, and just generally living for the moment.
